Hi! I’m Scott, a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with years of experience helping people manage and overcome chronic back pain. After working closely with countless individuals in person, I realised how difficult it can be to find consistent, accessible, and effective strategies for treating back pain—especially when life gets busy. That’s why I created this online course. I wanted to make it easier for people to access the tools and knowledge they need, no matter where they are or what their schedule looks like. My approach is built on real-world experience and evidence-informed methods, and I’m dedicated to helping you take control of your back pain and live a life that’s not held back by discomfort.

The eligibility assessment is an essential step to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the program. You’ll need to review and tick all the boxes in the assessment to confirm the course is suitable for your specific needs. If you’re unable to tick all the boxes, this indicates that additional medical clearance or guidance may be required to ensure the exercises and strategies are safe for your condition.

This process ensures you can participate confidently and get the most out of the course without compromising your safety.

Acute back pain usually comes on suddenly and generally lasts less than 6 weeks. It’s often occurs by alongside certain movements and tasks, and it usually gets better as your body heals.
Chronic back pain, however, lasts longer than 3 months and can stick around even after the original injury has surpassed the general healing time-frame. It’s more complicated and can be influenced by various lifestyle factors as well.
The main difference is that acute pain is temporary, while chronic pain is ongoing and needs a different approach to treat it effectively.
