Wasting Your Time? Not Sure If This Will Help?

Most people I speak with feel the same way at first — unsure, skeptical, or just fed up with trying things that haven’t worked.
That’s why this session is different. It’s simply a chance to understand what’s been keeping you stuck and to explore if there is a better way forward — with or without me.
Hi, I’m Scott — a Clinical Exercise Physiologist who’s spent years helping people living with long-term back pain. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: just because nothing has worked yet, doesn’t mean you’re out of options.
Back pain doesn’t have to be a life sentence. There’s always a next step — and sometimes all it takes is the right conversation to start seeing things differently.

Client Progress Story: Miranda
(Name and photo changed to protect client privacy)
After 5 years of living with persistent back pain, simple things had become major challenges for Miranda. Walking more than 7 minutes would bring on discomfort. Playing with her kids on the floor was out of the question, and even placing a cup of tea on the table was her biggest trigger for pain. Over time, the fear of movement became just as limiting as the pain itself.
Through a structured approach focused on personalised and progressive exercise, gradual exposure to certain movements, and lifestyle adjustments, Miranda began to rebuild trust in her body. The goal wasn’t just strength — it was about reducing sensitivity in the nervous system and addressing the daily habits and stressors that were contributing to pain.
By the end of the program, she was lifting 16kg from the floor, playing freely with her kids, and walking comfortably again. The pain no longer dictated every decision.
Every journey is unique, and results will vary — but Miranda’s story is a powerful example of what can be possible when pain is approached with the right structure, patience, and support.
If Nothing Changes then….Nothing Changes.
Long-term back pain rarely just “goes away” on its own. Left unaddressed, it can continue to quietly take from you:
➤ Your energy
➤ Your focus
➤ Your ability to fully show up — at work, with family, or in the things you love
➤ Your confidence to move freely
The longer pain lingers, the more your nervous system may reinforce it — making it harder to break the cycle.
Taking action doesn’t mean jumping into another temporary quick fix. It means starting a low-pressure, honest conversation about what’s keeping you stuck… and what might actually move you forward.
If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” — this might be it.

Yes, it’s 100% free — no strings attached.
There’s no obligation to sign up for anything. This is a chance for you to get clarity and decide whether working together feels like the right next step. If it does, I’ll explain how my 12-week program works. If not, that’s completely fine — you’ll still walk away with better insight into your pain and direction on what to do. -

This is ideal for people who’ve been dealing with ongoing or recurring back pain for 6 months or more — especially if you’ve tried multiple treatments and still don’t feel like you have a long-term solution.
It’s suitable whether your pain started after a clear injury — like a bulging disc, spinal degeneration, or tissue strain — or if your scans came back normal and there was no obvious cause at all. Both are common, and both can be driven by changes in how your nervous system processes pain over time.
You don’t need to be in severe pain — if you feel stuck, frustrated, or unsure of your next step, this session is for you.
-
This session is conversation-based. It’s not a workout or movement screen — it’s about understanding your story, pain patterns, and where you’re at right now.
-
The assessment is held online via a video call, so you can do it from the comfort of your home — no travel, no waiting rooms. All you need is a computer with a stable internet connection.

Yes. Many people with chronic back pain have some form of age-related change like arthritis or disc degeneration — and these findings are actually very common, even in people without pain.
This assessment helps us understand the bigger picture and explore how movement, nervous system support, and other factors could help you manage pain more effectively. -
That’s completely fine — in fact, most people I work with have already tried multiple treatments before they find me. It’s more common than you think.
The reality is, the generic rehab path often focuses only on muscles, joints, or alignment — which can be helpful in the short term, but doesn’t always address the deeper, long-term drivers of persistent pain.
This assessment is designed to explore why your pain might still be hanging around — and whether a more personalised, whole-person approach that looks beyond the surface (including nervous system sensitivity, movement habits, and pacing) could finally help you move forward.
