It is not a diagnostic session and does not replace a clinical assessment from a medical doctor or specialist.

15. 12-Week Move Beyond Back Pain Program Terms
15.1. Program Overview
The Move Beyond Back Pain program is a 12-week online coaching and support service designed for individuals experiencing persistent or chronic back pain. The program includes personalised guidance, education, and exercise strategies aimed at improving movement, function, and confidence in managing back pain. It does not replace medical treatment or diagnosis and is not a substitute for individualised care from a medical practitioner.

To participate, clients must:
Be over 18 years of age
Have persistent or recurrent back pain (typically 6+ months)
Be capable of participating in low to moderate intensity movement strategies
Be able to access and use online tools including video conferencing and email
Alignment Exercise Physiology reserves the right to determine program suitability based on clinical judgement and information provided during the free assessment.
15.4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
Attend scheduled sessions and actively engage in the program
Communicate openly and honestly regarding their condition, progress, or concerns
Follow the strategies provided and notify the practitioner of any adverse effects or barriers to participation
15.5. Results Disclaimer
While this program is evidence-informed and designed to support long-term improvement, results will vary between individuals. Alignment Exercise Physiology does not guarantee specific outcomes (such as pain reduction or recovery) and will not be held liable for unmet expectations or perceived lack of progress.
15.6. Fees and Payment
The full program fee is AUD $2,497, payable upfront prior to the commencement of the program unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A cooling-off period is available to clients who change their mind after enrolling but before participating in any live sessions or accessing the program content. In these cases, a 75% refund of the program fee will be provided. The remaining 25% is retained to cover administrative time, resource allocation, and opportunity cost associated with the reserved program place.
Once the program has commenced — defined as attending the first session, accessing restricted content, or receiving personalised planning — no refunds will be issued for change of mind, dissatisfaction with outcomes, or partial participation, except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
Clients are encouraged to consider their commitment carefully before enrolling and to use the free assessment session to ask questions and determine suitability prior to payment.
15.7. Ongoing Support Guarantee
Clients who fully complete the 12-week Move Beyond Back Pain program and do not yet feel confident managing their back pain may be eligible for continued support at no additional cost, until a reasonable level of self-management confidence is achieved.
To qualify for this extended support, the client must have demonstrated consistent and active participation throughout the entire 12-week program. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Attending all scheduled sessions, or rescheduling in advance with appropriate notice
Completing weekly movement strategies and prescribed home-based exercises
Engaging with all provided educational content, including video modules and reading material
Implementing personalised lifestyle strategies as discussed, such as pacing, activity planning, stress management, and sleep hygiene
Maintaining regular communication with the practitioner, including responding to email check-ins and completing progress reviews
Raising concerns or barriers during the program so adjustments can be made in a timely manner
Failure to meet these participation criteria may result in ineligibility for the ongoing support guarantee.
This guarantee is not a results-based promise or a refund policy. It is offered solely at the discretion of Alignment Exercise Physiology, and reflects our commitment to supporting clients who fully engage with the program and are genuinely invested in long-term improvement.
